Notable Reviews
- "Ishar 2: Messengers of Doom" Silmarils - 86% "Those prepared to invest some time and thought in the game will, however, reap more than ample rewards."
- "War in the Gulf" Empire - 82% "I don't know what to say about this as it's so similar - well, exactly the same - to the previous two Empire tank games."
- "Dune 2: The battle for Arrakis" Westwood Studios/Virgin - 90% "It's one of the most absorbing games I've come across - after all, there aren't many games where you can spend upwards of an hour and a half playing through the same mission, attempting to achieve the same goal and still be desperate for more when you finish."
- "One Step Beyond" Ocean - 83% "Ocean have once again come up with a puzzling classic. The beauty of One Step Beyond is that, unlike most puzzle games, it's actually strangely relaxing, with the player hardly ever forced to up his pace to an impossible level."
- "B.A.T.2" Computer's Dream/Ubisoft - 84% "I've got a lot of time for games wth a decent storyline, and a nice bit of atmosphere, and this has both."
- "A320 Airbus" Thalion - 81% "If you like flight simulations of a technically accurate nature, you'll like this. If you don't - you won't."
- "Gunship 2000" Microprose - 90% "I never thought I'd see the day when a game wold combine the depth of a full-blow [sic] 'serious' simulation with the sheer fun of an arcadey 3D shoot-'em-up."
- "Syndicate" Bullfrog/Electronic Arts - 88% "It may not be quite in the league of Bullfrog's other hits but it's a close run thing and, I must admit, there's not many games that have kept me glued to the monitor screen for as long or as keenly as Syndicate. Good, violent stuff."
